About this site, and who publishes it

Vantage Portal is a troubleshooting resource for desktop games, written for readers in Australia. This page states who is behind it, how it decides what to cover, and what the commercial arrangement behind the site does and does not affect.

The publisher

Vantage Portal is a website operated by KOKSAKI s.r.o. and is not a separate legal entity. Correspondence about anything on this site, including corrections and privacy requests, reaches the same address and the same email account.

Material here is written and maintained by the KOKSAKI s.r.o. editorial team. We do not publish bylines, staff biographies or photographs, because a named author on a site of this kind adds an impression of authority without adding accountability — the company named above is accountable for every word, and that is the accountability that can actually be acted on.

What this site is

It is an independent informational resource about games that run on desktop computers, organised around symptoms rather than products. It explains the category, describes how problems in it are diagnosed, and links to one product within it.

It is not the official site of any game or publisher, and it is not a partner, reseller or authorised source for any of them. It is not a news outlet, and it does not publish reviews, scores, star ratings, awards or reader submissions. Where a product name appears, it appears as the subject of description and nothing else.

How coverage is decided, stated plainly

This is the part most sites in this category are vague about, so it is worth being specific.

The troubleshooting material is decided by symptom frequency. The pages exist because the underlying problems — a download failing near the end, a launcher closing without a message, a delay between an action and its effect, a charge nobody in the household recognises — are the ones people actually have. Those pages are written to apply across desktop titles in this category and do not depend on any particular product.

The product linking is decided by commercial relationship, and by nothing else. We link to one product, Raid: Shadow Legends, because that is the advertiser we have an arrangement with. We have not surveyed the category and concluded that it is the best of anything. We have not tested it against alternatives. It is not ranked, because a ranking of one is not a ranking. If we later have arrangements with other advertisers, they will appear here on the same basis and the basis will still be stated.

That is a narrow scope, and we would rather state it than dress it up. A site claiming broad independent coverage while linking to a single paying advertiser is making a claim it cannot support, and the reader has no way to check it. A site that says exactly how limited its commercial coverage is gives the reader something they can weigh.

Where the information comes from

Three sources, and we try to make clear which is which on every page.

• General technical explanation. How installers, storage, graphics drivers, network latency and account recovery work is not contentious, and it is described here in general terms rather than as a claim about any product.
• Product information from the vendor. Anything stated about Raid: Shadow Legends comes from the material published by the advertiser and the programme distributing it. Where something is not in that material — system requirements, the detail of monetisation, classification — we say it is not stated here and point to the vendor and the relevant authority instead of guessing.
• Australian institutions, linked. Where a page touches consumer rights, scams, online safety, privacy or classification, it links the relevant Australian body and describes only what that body actually is: the ACCC, Scamwatch, the Australian Cyber Security Centre, the eSafety Commissioner, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and the Australian Classification Board.

What we deliberately do not publish

No benchmark figures, frame rates, temperatures or test results, because we do not operate a test laboratory and numbers we could not defend would mislead. No testimonials or user quotes, because we have no way to verify who said them. No awards, badges or certifications, because we hold none. No classifications for specific titles, because the Classification Board's own record is the only accurate source. No prices or discounts, because they change and we are not the seller.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we would rather know. Write to info@vantageportal.online with the page and what is inaccurate. Factual corrections are made to the page itself, and the review date in the footer is updated when a page changes. We do not have a comments section, because we collect nothing from readers — the privacy policy explains that position in detail.

How this site is built

Plain HTML and CSS with one small script that opens the navigation menu on narrow screens. There is no analytics, no advertising tag, no conversion pixel and no third-party script of any kind. The site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and requests nothing from any external host. That is why there is no consent banner: a banner here would be asking permission for something that does not happen.
